Taiwanese university partners with Fujitsu to shore up big data skills

National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in southern Taiwan has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese technology provider Futjistu in a move that will see the two organisations work together to build out a big data analytics platform and nurture big data skills in academia.

The House of Lords Committee on Digital Skills will focus on assessing the digital capability of the nation at a time when enterprise adoption of cloud services is steadily increasing, creating demand for skills around cloud, mobility and cybersecurity.
