US-based cloud computing company, Cetrom Information Technology, has been named as the new IT provider for The Mutual Fund Directors Forum (MFDF). The MFDF is recognised as one of North America’s most powerful non-profit groups, with membership comprising of directors from boards such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
With a membership of more than 700 independent directors across the United States, MFDF had approached Cetrom with a number of new requirements, including utility pricing, a key feature due to the fluctuating use of services the non-profit group experience.
The agreed cloud-based solution to be delivered by Cetrom enables MFDF to add and remove applications and users as needed on a month-to-month basis. Cetrom will also offer enterprise-class security and 99.99% uptime guarantee to ensure MFDF’s round-the-clock access to valuable resources.
Susan Ferris Wyderko, Executive Director, MFDF, said, “We needed an IT solution that was reliable and accessible so we can be there for our members even if we can’t get into the office. The cloud model offers the flexibility we need as a growing organisation with the security and customer support we can rely on. Cetrom IT has been exceptionally responsive, providing excellent communication and service during the whole process.”
Christopher Stark, CEO and Founder, Cetrom IT, added, “Flexibility and security were the two factors that drew MFDF to the cloud. The nature of the organisation made the need for reliable remote access and data security important which made them a perfect fit for cloud computing technology.
“We are always happy to introduce organisations like MFDF to the cloud and help them realise the associated benefits of streamlined IT operations.” ...........................................................................................................
