IDC report kicks in as Northern Irish city announces 4,000 tech jobs

The city of Derry in Northern Ireland will create more than 4,000 jobs in the tech sector by 2020, as part of a major new investment in telecoms and digital projects. The news follows hot on the heels of this week’s research by IDC and Microsoft, which predicts more than 14m new global jobs to be created in IT and cloud computing by 2015.
