NIA declares cloud computing ‘boom’ on Wall Street

The National Inflation Association (NIA), an organisation specialising in delivering reports on hyperinflation in the US, has released a statement declaring cloud computing’s potential, within the next 12 months, to become a “bigger boom on Wall Street than the dot-com boom”.

New Gartner report shows IT budgets set for decline

IT budgets are “expected to be flat” across many global organisations in 2012, according to a new report released by Gartner today. The survey, conducted alongside over 2,000 CIOs worldwide, highlights the difficulty facing IT decision-makers in the next 12 months, with organisational technology demands set to increase, but IT budgets unlikely to expand.
