Gravitant has released a new free tool called CloudWiz that can help potential cloud customers evaluate the option of going cloud in less than five minutes. The CloudWiz tool allows users to plan capacity, compare vendors and analyze ROI.
By filling out their current resource utilisation and projected demand, users can compare cloud service providers with respect to cost and QoS and ultimately determine ROI benefits. The simple three-step wizard allows customers to size, prize and order Virtual Data Center services from an online IaaS catalogue and templates.
The tool is useful for Cloud service providers when they onboard new clients, as well as for cloud consultants to help organisations assess the impact of replacing physical servers with a cloud solution.
